OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | The objective of the course is to help the students gain the ability to prepare a show of folk dances to be staged with all aspects. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include; Stage arrangement (choreography) advanced techniques in folk dances, Melodic structure of music used in folk dances and analysis of rhythmic structures of games, teaching methods in folk dances, preparation of training program for folk dances, teaching and practice of the determined local folk games (horon, harmandalı, karsilama/roman), stage arrangement (choreography) techniques and practices. |
