OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	The objective of the course is to help the students gain the ability to prepare a show of folk dances to be staged with all aspects.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Contents of the course include; Stage arrangement (choreography) advanced techniques in folk dances, Melodic structure of music used in folk dances and analysis of rhythmic structures of games, teaching methods in folk dances, preparation of training program for folk dances, teaching and practice of the determined local folk games (horon, harmandalı, karsilama/roman), stage arrangement (choreography) techniques and practices.

Explain the methods and principles used in teaching folk dances.
Teach the local folk dances.
Apply the local folk dances with advanced level techniques.
Use the stage arrangement (choreography) techniques at an advanced level choreography studies.
Analyze melodic structure of music used in folk dances and rhythmic structures of dance.
Examine the programs of folk dances training programs, evaluate the appropriateness of content.
Prepare a show of folk dances to be staged with all its characteristics.
