OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | Objective of the course is to help students gain the skills to determine the appropriate costume according to the structure of the music and movements and to design a unique choreography. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include concepts of rhythm and dance, historical development and classification of dance, note, measure and tempo, walks with tempo, basic dance techniques (dance walk, bounce, jump, balance, turns, galop etc.), Waltz, tango, salsa and syrtos dance steps and choreography studies. |
