OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to help students to be able to apply advanced orienteering techniques, to teach the basic techniques, to prepare a training plan specific to the orienteering and to acquire the knowledge and skills to organize orienteering races.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include Salon practice orienteering, Line orienteering, Land (coarse) orienteering, specific training techniques in orienteering and planning orienteering race organizations.

Explain training skills specific for orienteering.
Apply specific training techniques for orienteering in advanced level.
Apply the salon practices for orienteering.
Apply Line orienteering practices.
Apply Land (coarse) orienteering practices.
Evaluate the fitness of the content of the program by examining the training programs specific to the orienteering.
Prepare a training plan specific to Orienteering.
Organize orienteering races.
