OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to provide basic life support to students in rescue in water, drowning incidents, and to give them the ability to apply first aid techniques.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course includes first aid procedures, first aid techniques, handling techniques in drowning and injuries, intervention in water and methods of carrying someone outside.

Define concepts related to first aid and basic field of anatomy
Explain first aid technique to be applied in cases of drowning and injury
Apply basic life support during drowning
Apply water rescue intervention and first aid techniques
