OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to help students gain skills to use the human power efficiently in the sports organizations, to meet the expectations of the business and to ensure the continuous development and to provide the knowledge and skill to make appropriate choices while determining the human resource.
Contents of the Course Unit: Content of the course is basic concepts, historical development of human resources management, human resources management planning and analysis methods, types of personnel needs, finding and selecting wage earner, orientation, training management and career development, performance evaluation, business evaluation and wage management, employee health and work safety, bureaucratic processes and information systems, HRM examples applied in sports organizations.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define and explain the concepts related to human resources management.
Explain the position of the human resources department in the sport organization and its relation with other departments.
Relate between the work requirements of sport organizations and the practices that govern the process of wage earner personnel selection.
Evaluate the process of efficient use of human power and meeting the expectation of work and ensuring continuous improvement, and choose the appropriate individuals while determining the human resources.
