Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to provide the students with the basic knowledge and skills to analyze the news production processes in the mainstream media and the reproduction of the dominant discourse in news texts. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include topic such as the historical development of news concept, narrative structure of news, news analysis with different theoretical approaches and problem of representation in news. |
