OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to understand airplane loading and equilibrium issues, to plan the safe loading of airplane, to read and understand the flight plan and to reveal the importance of air traffic rules.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as Purpose of Training and Presentation in Air Traffic Management, Annex 2 Air Traffic Rules, General Provisions and JAR-OPSs, Visible (VFR) and Instrument (IFR) Flight Rules, Flight Plans ATC Requirements, SNOWTAM Concept.

Identify the basic concepts of flight operations.
Interpret the air traffic rules in the light of case studies.
Apply flight operation and air traffic rules to concrete events.
