Objectives of the Course Unit: | The aim of the course is to provide students with the ability to understand the functioning of new media technologies in the digital age surrounded by technology, as well as to enable them to identify the similarities and differences between the real and hyperreal world and to offer a critical perspective. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | It covers new media and related concepts, New media theories, Surveillance society in the digital age, Simulation theories, perception and perception theories, Metaverse concept, its history and usage areas and related topics. |
