OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	This course aims to provide the students with a general understanding of national and international aviation rules, institutions, authorities and regulations.
Contents of the Course Unit:	The contents of the course include the subjects such as regulations, principles and rules applicable to national and international aviation, and institutions and regulations representing authority.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)
Define the civil aviation authority of our country.
Summarize the structure of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Classify the International Aviation Authorities.
Explain the activities of ICAO, JAA, EASA and FAA.
Contact a link between international rules (JAR) and national rules (SHY).
