Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to explain the analysis of basics and systematics of media. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include subjects such as structural transformation that media have had in the world and in Turkey and the process of transformation of media content, how to ensure objectivity in news, the definition of the concepts of rating circulation which means the positioning of the reader- audience across media and how it is measured. Main discussion topics of the course are reader-audience perception studies, media contents and cultural policies in media discourse, applied news analysis from Turkey and the world. |

Explain how different age groups are affected by media contents by taking into account the influence of media. |
