OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to examine the terminology of radio and television broadcasting and programmaking, and to explain the characteristics of radio TV broadcasting and radio TV formats.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course is the emergence and development of radio and television broadcasting in the world and in Turkey, the structure and functioning of broadcasting, the definition and characateristics of radio – TV programmaking and radio TV formats.

Knows the historical background of radio TV broadcasting in the world and in Turkey.
Knows radio TV formats.
Designs a radio - TV format.
Designs a production case.
Knows the pre-production, production and post-production processes.
