OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: the aim of this course is to examine the basic principles of journalism and discussed the roles of journalism on society.
Contents of the Course Unit: the content of this course is structed on the principles and importance of journalism.

Learns about the historical perspective of journalism since Ottoman Empire
Defines news and ethical values ​​of journalism, taking into account universal journalism rules.
Determines the ethical values ​​and principles of journalism in line with the written and universal principles from their own point of view.
Expresses the difference from visual media by learning the basic concepts of print media.
