OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to teach the theory of international economics and to help students to gain the ability to analyze the international economic problems
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; International Trade theories, supply and demand models, foreign trade theory and economic growth analysis, foreign trade policy tools and the analysis of economic relations between countries

Define the terms of international economics
Explain the neoclassical equilibrium by using microeconomics tools
Distinguish the conditions of free trade and the benefits to be provided to the parties
Analyze the socio-economic effects of the developments in the world economy on the countries
Research on the latest theoretical developments in international economics
Evaluate empirical studies related with international economics
