OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of this course is to provide basic knowledge and skills related to the field of insurance
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; Definition of risk types, Securing of pure risk with insurance assurance, Goods Insurance branches and collaterals, Life insurance branches and collaterals, Liability insurance branches and collaterals, Claims payments, Disputes arising from claims payments, solutions and court decisions, Current legal regulations on insurance

Define the concepts of detriment, risk and security
Explain the difference between the relationship between pure risk and insurance
Calculate insurance costs, compensation returns and risk factors
