OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To examine the concept of Islamic finance, to explain the principles and features of Islamic finance in comparison with interest-based finance, to examine participation banking in detail and to give information about other Islamic finance products.
Contents of the Course Unit: -The content of the concept of Islamic finance and its comparison with conventional finance -The principles and features of Islamic finance and its development -Islamic finance and its fundamentals in the world and in Turkey -Participation banking, funding sources, products and contracts - Other products within the scope of Islamic finance (insurance, sukuk)

Gains information about the concept of Islamic finance, its principles and features.
Learns the development of Islamic finance and its place in the world financial system.
