OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce knowledge and skills about analysing the financial system and banking sector, understanding the operation of financial system and the role of the banks as the most important institution of the system
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects as in the definitions of banking and bank, types of banks, historical development of banking in the world and in Turkey, current developments in financial markets and banking sector, deposits and loans
