Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to provide the students with the ability to examine the conventional and combined railway transportation at national and international level in terms of logistics. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include the subjects such as historical development of railway transportation; freight wagons; wagon numbering and marking; loading, labelling and sealing of wagons; classification of trains; putting in commission; national and international regulations; railway transportation terminology. |
