The aim of this course is to introduce the types, sources, and applications of data produced in the health field, to teach the basic concepts and components of health informatics, and to enable students to acquire the skills to use health data effectively, safely, and ethically. |

Types and Characteristics, Methods of Collecting Health Data, Sources of Health Data: Patient Records, Device Data, Digitization and Filing of Data, Electronic Health Record Systems, Components and Functioning of Health Information Systems, Data Sharing and Integration in Healthcare, Data Quality and Accuracy Principles, Digital Health Applications and Mobile Health, Digital Transformation in Healthcare Services, Health Informatics Applications in Turkey, and Application Examples. |
