The primary objective of this course is to ensure that students can accurately analyze, pronounce, and write anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic concepts related to the body systems, as well as basic radiological terminology. Within the scope of the course, the goal is to provide the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary for students to effectively use the international medical language, which is the basis of communication among healthcare professionals, and professional concepts specific to imaging methods in clinical practice. |

The study of roots, prefixes, and suffixes, which form the basic structure of medical terminology; Pronunciation rules for Latin and Greek letters; Analysis of anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic terms related to the Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, Cardiovascular (Blood and Blood-Forming Organs), and Nervous systems, along with an introduction to Radiological terminology, imaging methods, and radiological concepts specific to body systems. |
