The aim of this course is to define and convey the fundamental characteristics of musculoskeletal science, the working principles of muscles, normal and pathological gait using anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, as well as the clinical pathologies where orthotic and prosthetic applications are performed. |

The course covers the structure and function of organs and systems that make up the human body, anatomical posture, planes and axes, muscle functions, joint movements and kinesiological analysis of movements, and the evaluation of clinical pathologies leading to the use of orthotics and prosthetics. |
