“Students begin with an introduction to cytotechnology and its fundamental concepts. They study cell injury, cell death, and adaptation mechanisms (hypertrophy, hyperplasia, atrophy, and metaplasia). Instruction is provided on the classification of cytological materials, laboratory procedures, and fixation methods. Techniques for preparing cytological specimens and cell blocks are demonstrated through practical sessions. Additionally, staining methods used in cytology and laboratory management practices are shared with the students. |
