The aim of this course is to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of the fundamental concepts of surgery, the physical and technological structure of the operating room, the equipment used in the operating room environment, surgical instruments, suture materials, patient positioning, and patient safety principles, and to develop their ability to use operating room technologies safely and effectively. |

The course content includes: the definition and types of surgery, the physical and technological structure of the operating room, ventilation and air conditioning principles, operating room lighting systems, anesthesia and its types, anesthesia machines, patient monitoring, electrocautery devices, other technological devices used in the operating room, patient safety, classification of surgical instruments, suture materials and needles, operating table technology, and surgical positions and application principles. |
