Within the scope of this course, the structure of electrophysiology laboratories; patient registration procedures; electrostatic, electromagnetic, and environmental sources of artifacts; cables; transcranial magnetic stimulators; EMG and EEG devices; surface and needle electrode types used in EMG (bar, disc, ring, concentric, monopolar, macro EMG, single-fiber, and injection needle electrodes); grounding and stimulator electrodes; intracranial recording electrodes; and the general principles of nerve measurements are covered. |
