Objectives and Contents
Objectives: It is aimed for students to have a good grasp of the concepts of health and health services, to gain basic knowledge about the management of health services and to evaluate the management of health services in Turkey.
Content: This course; Concept of Health and Health Services, Models Related to Definition of Health, Determinants of Health Status, Characteristics of Health Services, Classification, Concept of Service and Characteristics of Health Services, Determination of Need, Demand, Supply and Priority in Health Services, Health System, Health System Elements and Functions, Turkish Health System, Organization of Health Services, Health Transformation Program, Unions of Public Hospitals and Conversion of Hospitals to Union and Organizational Structure, Decentralization and Decentralization in Our Country, General Directorate of Public Health, General Directorate of Public Hospitals, Basic Concepts in Health Services Management.
