| Objectives: | This course aims to introduce political, economic, social and cultural development of world civilisations by concentrating on ancient period and middle ages. This course aims to have student held the goods of comparing several civilizations with one another. |
| Content: | Contents of the course include description of the civilization concept, introducing the development of great civilizations notably Egypt, Mesopotamia, China, India, Middle Asia, Greece, Rome and Byzantine and the East and the West and current discussions on the civilization concept. |
