Objectives and Contents

Objectives: This course aims to introduce how neoliberal policies effected the process of financial articulation generated after the second half of the 20th century, how basic economic indicators and income distributions changed following this financialization.
Content: Contents of the course include international banking analysis, the articulation process of financial systems with one another, foreign securities markets, international stock exchange transactions, Forex market, world finance market, international portfolio investments international capital resources, international risk management, direct capital investments, international taxation, comparison between the balance of example payments in Turkey and selected countries, international financial crises.
