Objectives and Contents

Objectives: This course aims to introduce basic concepts of electronic commerce rising in importance in the current global economic level, new working models and historical development of electronic commerce, effects of current movements relevant with several sectors and markets.
Content: Contents of the course include basic concepts for internet and electronic commerce, historical development of electronic commerce, internet and “www” technology, digital economy, e-commerce products, e-commerce plans, e-commerce legal, ethics and tax rules, innovations emerged in the market through internet, brand loyalty for websites, e-marketing and marketing strategies integrated to internet, cyber security, e-commerce software and hardware and discussions on current topics about e-commerce.
