| Content: | The course contains an introduction to geotechnical engineering, site investigation and in-situ soil tests, shallow foundations, bearing capacity calculations, use of SPT testing, settlement, the analysis of isolated footing, combined and mat foundation, deep foundations, pile groups, reinforced concrete design of footing. |
