| Objectives: |
The goal of this course is to teach students the terminology and fundamental concepts related to security in the cyber environment, in parallel with the development of information and communication technologies and systems. The course will emphasize the importance of cybersecurity, drawing attention to examples of personal, corporate, and national security challenges in the cyber environment. Students will also gain knowledge about necessary precautions, strategies, laws, and policies related to cybersecurity. |

The importance of forensic computing, terminology and concepts of forensic computing, information crimes and laws to combat them, the fundamentals of forensic computing law, principles and methods, forensic computing incident response processes and management, international forensic computing studies, forensic computing studies in Turkey, ISO 27037 standard, forensic examination of software and hardware, collection, evaluation, and identification of evidence, forensic computing technologies, hardware and software, forensic computing case study/incident analysis, and preparation of forensic computing reports. |
