This course, which examines form, composition, color, use of light and other visual elements in miniature art, aims to provide students with the ability to make an analysis that will help them understand works of art from aesthetic and narrative perspectives. It aims to provide students with the skills necessary to understand, interpret and critically evaluate works of visual art, while encouraging students to learn about different art movements and miniature techniques from the history of art and to understand the evolution of art. |

History of Miniature Art: Information is given about the origins and development of miniature art. Traditional miniature forms and examples are studied.
Miniature Materials and Techniques: Different materials (paper, ink, paint, brush, etc.) and techniques used in making miniatures are taught.
Hand Skills and Detailing: Hand skills, fine craftsmanship and detailing skills, which are important in miniature art, are studied.
Composition and Perspective: Training is given on the composition rules of miniature paintings and the use of perspective.
Miniature Artists and Their Works: Famous miniature artists and their works are examined. The styles and techniques of these artists inspire students.
Student Projects: Students have the opportunity to create their own miniature works. These projects offer students the chance to practice and showcase the skills they have developed in the art of miniature. |
