Objectives and Contents

Objectives: Video Editing course, which is structured on theory and application processes, aims to enable students to gain competence both in technical and artistic fields in the field of image editing in cinema and television.
Content: Theoretically, it provides an understanding of the basic principles of fiction by focusing on the 10 Principles of Sequentially Combined Plans on a Stage, which was identified by L. V. Kuleşov and identified by Aleksey G. Sokolov. Adobe Premiere Pro editing program is used in the applications. Professional terminology used in cinema is examined. How video is perceived by the audience is given with examples The plan scales used in Cinema and Television are transferred to the students by making applications. Fiction according to the tempo of moving objects, fiction according to the composition of the frame / fiction according to the displacement of the center of attention, fiction according to lighting principle and fiction according to color, fiction principle according to the displacement of gravity axes and the principles of movement of the main mass moving in the frame related applications will be made. With Adobe Premiere Pro, video editing workflow, applying transition effects between plans, color and light correction, applying and changing video effects, editing a movie, exporting exported images will be covered.
