Objectives and Contents
Objectives: To learn the aviation information management unit and how it works, to teach navigation systems and devices, what aviation communication tools are, what important forms such as Notam, Snowtam and Flight plan do and how to fill them.
Content: Paris convention, Chicago Convention, International aviation organizations ICAO, IATA and its purposes, Navigation systems and devices, Integrated Aeronautical Information Package and Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), Aviation Information Circulars (AIC), AIP Annexes (AIP SUP/AIRAC SUP) , AIP Revisions (AIP AMDT/ AIRAC AMDT), NOTAM, SNOWTAM, ASHTAM, TRIGGER NOTAM, Aeronautical Information Management communications tools, Aeronautical Communications Tools, FTN, SITA, CIDIN, Flight Plan (FPL), NOTAM, and SNOWTAM generation.
