Objectives: | It is aimed to provide students competence about the basic concepts and approaches of the science of psychology and its field of practice, and to create a basis for the courses they will take in the coming years of their studies by providing them with awareness of the possible relationships between them and the way they explain psychological phenomena. |
Content: | This course includes the definition of psychology, its fields of study and sub-branches, research and application methods in psychology, neurobiological foundations of psychology and the structure of the brain, developmental psychology, theories in psychology, learning, remembering and thinking, sensation and perception. |
