Objectives and Contents

Objectives: To give the concept of circuit and system. To teach obtaining models of physical systems. Finding the transfer functions of physical systems. To teach the concept of stability and its criteria. To give methods such as block diagram, sign flow diagram, Bode diagram, Routh-Hurwitz criterion, geometric locus of roots. Obtaining the mathematical model of a given linear system and using this model to teach to examine the behavior and stability of the system. To teach how to design a system.
Content: System theory and concept of automatic control. Modeling of physical systems, transfer function, block and signal flow diagrams, state space diagram, stability concept, eigenvalue stability test, routh-hurwitz criterion, amplitude and phase curves, bode diagram, time-domain behavior of quadratic systems, geometric locus of roots covers topics.
