Objectives and Contents

Objectives: It focuses on the design, components, production processes, and assembly techniques of UAVs. This course enables students to learn the UAV production and assembly process in a technical and practical manner.
Content: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) include the test protocols and implementation processes necessary to ensure compliance with the regulations they have adopted for UAVs. In this context, it includes test processes for Functional Safety, Electrical Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), General Performance Characteristics, Benchmarking for Marketing Claims, Battery Safety and Performance, Software Verification, Hazardous Chemicals, Packaging, and Supplier Verification. It also classifies non-destructive testing methods and discontinuities.
