Objectives and Contents

Objectives: Within the framework of the New Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, commercial business, commercial enterprise, the obligations of the merchant, unfair competition situations and deceptive advertisements are explained as the basis for the student to comprehend the relationship between merchants, to comprehend the legal difference between "commercial enterprise-tradesman-company", which is common in daily life, to apply to commercial law. It aims to provide basic solutions in an event that comes before it, as well as to evaluate the competition between businesses or partnerships that continue their commercial activities in free market conditions.
Content: Conceptual analysis of commercial law, Concept of Business, its types, "Commercial business" as a type of business, Definition and Elements, Transfer of commercial enterprise and Pledge of Commercial Enterprise, Concept of Commercial Business, the provisions to which it is subject and the order of application of commercial provisions, Current account contract, Operation, provisions, termination, Commercial lawsuits -- Absolute commercial lawsuit -- Relative Commercial lawsuits, Trader title, Obligations of being a Merchant, Commercial books and the scope of the merchant's bookkeeping obligation, Dependent Merchant Assistants, Independent Merchant Assistants, Trade name brand types, It includes Unfair Competition Cases and legal cases that may be filed for this reason, bills of exchange and transfer cases.
