| Objectives: | It is aimed to provide information and attitudes on understanding orthoses, selection of materials used, types and characteristics of orthoses, selection and use of orthoses appropriate to disability conditions, use of orthoses within activities of daily living (ADL) and increasing mobility, the basic principles of prostheses, and the physiological and psychological effects of amputation and rehabilitation processes. |
| Content: | Upper, lower extremity, and trunk orthoses; selection of appropriate orthoses according to different deformities and pathological conditions; indications of orthoses and their areas of use in activities of daily living (ADL); orthotic rehabilitation; upper and lower extremity prostheses; selection of appropriate prosthetic components according to different prosthetic types and levels of amputation; amputee rehabilitation and activities of daily living (ADL). |
