The course includes an introduction to neurolinguistics and its historical background, as well as an introduction to aphasia and its association with specific anatomical brain regions. It covers the classification of aphasia, neurological imaging of language (PET and fMRI), central processing and its disorders, and morphological and syntactic disorders. Additionally, the course explores the relationship between memory and language, reading and writing disorders, and neurolinguistic models of language processing. |
