Objectives and Contents

Objectives: This lesson; To provide knowledge and skills regarding basic imaging, recording and stimulation methods commonly used in the field of Language and Speech Therapy; It aims to provide theoretical information and develop practical skills, especially about EEG/ERP and TMS methods.
Content: Introduction of imaging and analysis methods such as Technical Principles in Voice and Resonance Evaluation, nasometer, videofluoroscopy, nasoendoscopy, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation in Swallowing (FESS) and Other Methods, Videolaryngostroboscopy and Stroboscopy EEG, ERP, TMS and fMRI in the evaluation and therapy of language and speech disorders; selection of research methods according to disorders; justifications and principles of use: observing the applied use of imaging and analysis methods on the case in cooperation with the consultant and, when necessary, the physician or other discipline members; creating and maintaining case-specific records; analysis of collected data.
