Objectives and Contents

Objectives: To provide knowledge about the normal developmental process after birth, including the examination of reflex and motor development milestones, factors affecting movement and function, stages of normal development, developmental biomechanics, development of spinal curves, the nervous system, reflexes, sensory and perceptual development, cardiovascular and pulmonary systems, psychomotor system development, pathological and primitive reflexes, movement dysfunctions, and motor development assessments.
Content: Concepts and theories related to cognitive development, language development, physical development, motor development, and social-emotional development during early childhood.
