Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim is to provide knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to the electrophysical principles of electrotherapy, the tissue responses to commonly used electrotherapy modalities in physiotherapy, and the mechanisms of action and application methods of low-, medium-, and high-frequency currents.
Content: Shortwave diathermy, microwave diathermy, ultrasound, biofeedback, magnetotherapy, microcurrent, high-voltage pulsed current, extracorporeal shock wave therapy, traction, ultra-reiz current, and electrotherapy applications in rheumatic, orthopedic, and neurological diseases.
