Aim of the Program
To train software developers who specialize in the sector with both theoretical and practical skills and technicians who can work as technical support staff for the increasing need in the field of information technology. In addition, we aim to train qualified personnel who can produce fast and accurate solutions in the face of problems related to the society's adaptation to rapidly developing computer technologies, collecting the required information and processing this information.
In order to close the shortage of technical personnel, our students are given courses in the fields of system design, development, establishment and management of computer networks, management of systems and databases, preparation and presentation of web pages. The subjects that are most needed in information technologies such as visual programming, database management, internet programming, operating systems, computer hardware are transferred to the students depending on the course programs and full learning is realized by applying this information in computer laboratories in terms of practicality.
Objectives of the Program
At the end of the training prepared for the purpose of the program, we aim to raise individuals who;
1. Have introductory applied and basic conceptual knowledge in computer science subjects,
2. Are aware of the necessity of lifelong learning, and following the current developments in information and communication technologies, can assume leadership and managerial roles in some small or medium-sized enterprises,
3. Are able to work in areas where they can develop themselves and gain knowledge and skills in business life,
4. Are able to adapt to teamwork as an individual or to make research and development when necessary,
5. Are able to use algorithmic thinking and planning approach in applications,
6. Are able to employ in companies that produce services in the sector, providing computer software and web software services, and relevant public institutions and organizations,
7. Will contribute to our country's workforce by being equipped with the features to develop hardware and software for the information technologies needed by the industry,
