Career Opportunities

Physiotherapists who have graduated from this program can work as health care professionals and if they want to advance their careers with academic studies at a higher level is possible.

Occupational Profiles

Graduates of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation can provide clinical services in medical centers and various departments of university, public, and private hospitals, such as orthopedics, neurology, cardiology, rheumatology, and intensive care. In addition, they find employment opportunities in private physical therapy centers, prosthesis-orthosis units, and special education institutions focusing on pediatric rehabilitation. They can work on athlete health in sports clubs and national teams, as well as provide preventive and health-promoting physiotherapy services in wellness centers, spa/cure centers, and community health centers. Furthermore, they can serve in nursing homes for geriatric rehabilitation, home care services, and industrial organizations within ergonomics and occupational health units, or pursue an academic career in universities to contribute to education and research activities.

Horizontal Transition

Students enrolled in this program can transfer between health science departments.

Vertical Transmission

Students enrolled in this program are enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program and therefore cannot transfer to another program.
