General Information

Aim of the Program

The importance of foot health and care is gradually increasing.
It aims to train health technicians who have the necessary knowledge and skills to protect foot health and prevent possible diseases and can work in collaboration with physicians.

Target of the Program

To educate individuals who have sufficient background on the subjects related to the field of podology and can evaluate the data by using the basic knowledge and skills acquired and develop solutions for the problems.
The aim of this course is to educate professionals who are able to carry out applications related to the field effectively, suitable for multidisciplinary study or having the ability to work individually, and who have the knowledge of a foreign language to follow the innovations in the field.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the program can work as a ‘Podology Technician' in public and private hospitals.
Orthopedic shoes and other foot / walking related devices and goods producing companies in the production facilities, both sales and management are involved.
Massage and beauty / fitness centers are also available.

Working Places

Taking part in the awareness raising activities of podologists for foot health and protection; depending on the diagnosis and guidance of the relevant specialist physician for medical foot care and training; nail prosthesis applications, bandages, bandages, finger cushions and foot supports applications, foot health problems, nail pathologies and calluses to evaluate, prevention and treatment are involved in such areas.
