The aim of the Nutrition and Dietetics is to prepare dieticians who possess those qualities of competences and skills requisite to a health professional. The department also aims to train people who demonstrate creativity and innovation in research with the help of technology that contributes to the development and application of knowledge in nutrition, dietetics, food service management and community nutrition.
1- Conceive the theoretical and practical knowledge to promote health, prevent disease and minimize disability. 2- Play a role in adequate and balanced nutrition education with the awareness of their responsibilities for public health. 3- Define advanced level of theoretical and practical concepts in the fields of nutrients, nutrition and nutrition research. 4- Conduct projects and activities, and form new policies by taking part in multidisciplinary studies.
Dietitian, Nutrition and Dietetics at least four years of higher education in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics Bachelor of seeing, taking the title with a dietician to make the profession of dietetics and the application is the person entitled to.Of undergraduate education, graduate and doctoral programs after completing dietitians Specialist Dietician and Nutritionist Doctors can take the title.
