They follow occupational safety and worker health rules in the orthopedic prosthetics and orthotics production workshop.
They use machines and hand tools according to the instructions and guidelines.
They select and utilize measurement, inspection, marking, cutting, and shaping tools based on the workpiece and material.
They perform maintenance and cleaning of the hand tools they use.
They shape the workpieces by filing, hammering, and bending.
They join workpieces using methods such as screw and nut, riveting, pinning, and welding.
They remove incorrectly assembled rivets and pins.
They learn and apply both chip-removal and non-chip-removal cutting techniques.
