They bend metals such as steel, aluminum, titanium, and copper used in orthopedic technology using a vise and pliers.
They acquire information about and apply plaster of Paris and plaster bandages.
They create a negative model using plaster bandages on the patient.
They obtain a positive model from the negative model.
They apply modeling techniques using a rasp on the positive model.
