1. Recognizes all hard tissues of the tooth and explains their histology. 2. Defines caries, explains its etiology, microbiology and histopathology. 3. Lists the instruments and devices used in restorative dental treatment. 4. Explains the principles of cavity opening. 5. Lists current cements. 6. Explains all physical and chemical properties of amalgam and its application. 7. Explains adhesive dentistry. 8. Explains adhesion to enamel and dentin with all its mechanisms. 9. Explains composite resins at an introductory level. 10. Explains polymerization shrinkage and lists all approaches related to its prevention. 11. Explains finishing, polishing and polishing processes. Applies all cavity preparations known in theory on prepared soap models. 12. Applies all cavity preparations known in theory on acrylic jaws and plastic teeth. 13. Applies all cavity preparations known in theory on extracted human teeth. 14. Successfully performs all current cement applications to cavities that have been prepared. 15. Successfully performs amalgam preparation, placement in the cavity, condensation, modeling and polishing processes. 16. Successfully performs composite resin applications to all types of cavities. 17. Successfully applies all the knowledge, skills and experiences gained through practical applications in the Fantom laboratory in a way closest to the real thing.
