OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to teach the design and printing methods that show change in the development process of technology for the design projects, pre-press, printing and post-press printing stages
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as the introduction of modern printing techniques such as letterpress, offset, gravure, flexo, screen printing, pre-press, printing and post-printing stages, paper, paper waste, colour separation, assembly, lamination, cutting and binding processes.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Produce designs suitable for the target public by using different media
Know the necessary material information and management for printing
Explain the relationships, variables and common criteria between the types of printing by analyzing technological data
Apply all pre-press preparation of the design in accordance with technological criteria.
