OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the student with the skills of actualisation of the window and fair booths by the policies of designing, innovative, contemporary display elements and fashion aesthetics.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; the importance of visual arrangement by using materials compatible with the image of the brand in retail marketing, elements of contemporary exhibition, principles of designing a unique and sustainable window display considering cost limit.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Design spatial features of brand windows according to the designing principles policies.
Use basic principles of visual merchandising.
Calculate the material, timing and cost relations in window designing.
Construct interior rayon and display window with styling and rigging techniques.
Develop their practical skills by doing model workshop studies for window dressing.
